Guiding Principle, Quote, or Mantra

Brave is a verb. Kindness cures. Love is bigger than everything.

When You “Tripped Up” in a Partnership

One of Reba’s biggest “trip ups” came with her best friend. They had decided that they were going to start a business together and it didn’t go well. This was about ten years ago and they had a great idea.

What they discovered in the process is that they’re fantastic friends but horrible in working together. What tripped her up was that she felt like she couldn’t be honest at times with her friend.

Your Proudest Moment in Partnership

One of Reba’s proudest moments in partnership came with her editor for her book, ‘Post Traumatic Church Syndrome’. What her editor did was take her raw talent and experience, and taught her how to craft it into a story. In a period of over 18 months, her editor did everything in her power to help her along the way.

Nearing the end, Reba asked her for her honest opinion on what she thought of the book and everything, and she replied with “I’m so happy and proud to have my name involved with this book.”

About the author, Ken

I am the producer and host of Speaking of Partnership, a podcast that was inspired by a life of wearing the badge of self-sufficiency and independence proudly, until I realized it wasn't really a badge...it was armor.

My passion is helping you experience the power and payoffs of partnership by understanding and appreciating the opposite sex so you can feel safe, confident and understood in your personal, professional and family partnerships.
